Sodium Ion Batteries for mass production

CATL recently released its road map for Sodium Ion batteries. The first generation is planned with 160 Wh/kg, the second generation with up to 200 Wh/kg, with a price of around 50€ / Wh. Future mass production aims for 40€ / Wh. With prices as low as 40€/Wh it would correlate to affordable battery electric vehicles for a price point of 10.000€
